Hemlock, Child of Belladonna

A polite Venipede. It has a blue Team Ribbon tied around its left antenna, and its shoulder markings are similar to parentheses. It is looking at you with wide-open eyes.

General biography

Hemlock the Venipede is Assistant Librarian to Relicanth in the Glaive Expedition Federation, alongside a Rookie Explorer as part of Team Nova. It is 14 years old and hails from Paleo City. It uses it/its pronouns.

Hemlock is rather Timid, and often lost in thought. It is unlabeled on the gender, romance and sexuality axes. It is a somewhat-small Venipede. Its carapace is tinted slightly more pink than usual, and its eyespot markings are disconnected in the center, resembling parentheses. It usually wears its Team Nova ribbon on its left antenna.

During its adventures, it has gained a Tera Factor of +1. It follows the teachings of Uxie, Mindborne of Knowledge).

It speaks Satojiran, alongside comprehending Alo’lolan. It possesses a Tome of Tongues letting it understand nearly any language.

Because of various reasons, Hemlock doesn’t really like the Pan Trio or Cofagrigus.

History

Hemlock lived in Paleo City for most of its childhood. A year or so before entering the Guild, Belladonna bought a cute glass marble and gave it to Hemlock as a reminder of home.

Belladonna sent it to the Glaive Expedition Federation to aid it in its quest for knowledge, and to grow stronger than it could within the safe walls of its home.

On its first errand for the Guild, Hemlock was stopped by the Pan Trio outside of Porygon_Emporium, and the three bump into Hemlock as they get chased off by Torterra. Running off, they didn’t take any Poké, but… they did steal Hemlock’s Marble. When Hemlock encounters the Pan Trio again, they claim innocence, having never even seen a marble! Hemlock is pissed enough at the Pan Trio to attack first. Slight issue: Hemlock is level 5 and the Pan Trio is level 14. At least Neon managed to get Guildmaster Baxcalibur before anyone got seriously hurt.
